Sergey Vasilyev · the Integral Rhetoric method
Rhetoric is the craft of building an argument that lands. Public speaking is the craft of delivering it so people are convinced. It often feels hard, and it can seem you simply were not built for it — that is not true. Integral Rhetoric will move you forward on any speaking task inside your own field of expertise.

Who it is for
And presentations, and the rhetoric of the negotiating table.
About
For seven years I have worked with executives, founders and teams. Here is how I look at speech.
Speech matters in every line of work. The moment it becomes confident and convincing, you succeed.
Every kind of psychological, physiological and cognitive trouble with speech, rhetoric and communication. “Nerves throw me off.” “My thoughts and words vanish.” “How do I control my voice?” “How do I speak without a memorised script?” “How do I build a presentation worth watching?” “How do I stop being afraid of criticism?”
Public speaking, project presentations, client and vendor conversations, sales, leadership communication.
Speech is the defining human skill. Thinking, vocabulary, voice, nerve, the ability to connect — these are not simply traits, they are the ground a person stands on. Developing your speech is developing you.
Ten years of teaching, seven of them one on one in business rhetoric and public speaking. I work in my own approach, which I call Integral Rhetoric: a full reading of your goals and your situation, then a programme built specifically to reach them.
I work on every side of speech: psychology, content, form — voice and stage craft. The point is your well-being and your effectiveness: speaking should become easy.
If this is close to the way you see it, we will get a result.

Method
Confident speech rests on four supports: Composure, Technique, Rhetoric, Psychology. Like a portico on its columns — take one away and the whole thing loses its footing.
I work on all four supports at once — that is what makes the method integral.
How do you feel when people are watching? What is your body saying? What energy are you carrying? Grounding, breathing, working with the nervous system — drawn from body-oriented practice and the actor’s craft.
You'll learnto walk out collected and manage your nerves
Voice, gesture, stage craft — what drama schools teach. Not drills for the sake of drills, but tuned to your rhythm and your level.
You'll learnto command your voice, body and gesture
Command of thought and word: purpose, structure, argument, getting the meaning across. The ability to develop a thought on your feet without memorising a script. This is where most training stops short.
You'll learnto think in structure and speak with conviction
The psychological side of communication — inner limits, painful past experience, self-doubt, fear — is often what actually caps your effectiveness. Gentle, therapeutic work here pays off enormously and gives you confidence when the conversation carries weight.
You'll learnto hold your ground as an equal, without fear
Integral Rhetoric trains the speech and the person behind it. An investment in your leadership. This is exactly the work you need where the stakes are high.

Services
One on one, built around your particular task. And the task can be anything to do with rhetoric, speech or confidence.
Departments, conference speakers, leadership teams. Client communication, external communication and public speaking.
A dedicated programme. A specialisation of its own — seven years working with fear and nerves specifically.
Argument, defending your position, handling objections and criticism. Structuring the presentation. Sharpening what makes your offer distinct.
How we work
We take a real task apart: a talk, a negotiation, a presentation. I assess what is working and what is not.
Not training out of a box — I build it around your task. Whatever is wobbling is what we fix.
We work on your real material. You get used to acting as a speaker rather than knowing the theory.
The goal is not to teach you in general, but to carry you through to a result at one specific appearance.
